​Athletes are 100% responsible for whatever prohibited substances that are found in their urine or blood sample whether it is on purpose or not – Principal of Strict Liability. Therefore, all athletes must always be aware of the ingredients in the medications or supplements that they are taking.

Athletes must be familiar with WADA'S Prohibited List (Prohibited List | World Anti Doping Agency) which is a list of prohibited substances and methods in sports that is updated once a year. With this list, it will allow athletes to cross check the ingredients of their medications or supplements to ensure that it does not contain any prohibited substances.
