This is a necessity to strengthen core family values within the context of Brunei Darussalam through four family pillars, namely: Love; Responsibility; Respect; and Care.

Formulated inclusively through a Whole-of-Nation approach, this plan outlines three main goals to build happy, strong, and resilient families capable of facing current and future challenges. As a dynamic living document, the effectiveness of this action plan relies heavily on continuous commitment. In this regard, all ministries, relevant agencies, the private sector, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and the entire community are urged to work hand in hand to realize the planned initiatives, ensuring that the well-being of the family institution can be strengthened holistically and sustainably in Brunei Darussalam.
