She further shared that findings from the Social Blueprint Brunei Darussalam (SBP) have identified current trends, strengths and emerging challenges affecting family institutions. These insights serve as an important basis in shaping relevant and comprehensive programmes and initiatives. The SBP also recognises the family as the foundation of national social development through Aspiration 2, Empowering Loving, Strong and Resilient Families, which underscores the importance of stable and well-functioning families in building harmonious and productive communities.

In concluding her remarks, the Co-Chairperson encouraged all stakeholders to continue working collaboratively and to demonstrate strong commitment in planning and implementing the key programmes for National Family Day 2026, to ensure that family wellbeing remains central to sustainable national development.
Among the key matters discussed during the meeting was the proposed content for the National Family Day 2026 (Hari Keluarga Kebangsaan -HKK 2026) celebration, which will be organised through a more structured cluster-based approach. Business companies and private sector organisations are encouraged to introduce special promotional packages tailored for families, such as accommodation deals, family dining packages at restaurants, access to theme parks and recreational venues, as well as healthrelated promotional packages. These initiatives are intended to promote meaningful and quality time among family members.
