The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), through the Department of Community Development (JAPEM), organized the Ramadan Charity Expedition Program 1447/2026 simultaneously across all four districts to deliver Hampers of Hari Raya cookies and cakes, fruits and necessity goods to 17 families from the underprivileged group, including recipients of JAPEM's monthly welfare assistance, orphans, senior citizens, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

BRUNEI-MUARA DISTRICT

The charity expedition delegation in the Brunei and Muara District was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. A total of five (5) houses were visited to present the contributions, beginning with the first house in Kampung RPN Mentiri, followed by Kampung Serasa, Kampung Tanah Jambu, Kampung RPN Lambak Kanan and concluding at the final house in Kampung Kiulap. II. Also accompanying the delegation were YM Dayang Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Director of the Department of Community Development; directors and senior officers under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Department of Community Development; penghulu and relevant heads of village.

BELAIT DISTRICT

The delegation in the Belait District was led by YM Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Culture), at MCYS. The 1 delegation visited four (4) houses, beginning at Kampung RPN Pandan, followed by two homes in Kampong RPN Panaga, and concluding at Kampung Jalan Mumong Selatan. II. Also accompanying the delegation were directors and senior officers under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Department of Community Development; penghulu and relevant heads of village.

TEMBURONG DISTRICT

The delegation in Temburong District was led by YM Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Awang Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary (Community) at MCYS. A total of four (4) houses were visited, beginning with a house in Kampung Sumbiling Lama, followed by Kampung Meniup, Kampung Tanjung Bungar Baru and concluding in Kampung Rataie. II. Also accompanying the delegation were directors and senior officers under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Department of Community Development; penghulu and relevant heads of village.

TUTONG DISTRICT

The delegation in Tutong District was led by YM Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsafelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at MCYS. The expedition covered three (3) houses beginning at a house in Kampung Lamunin, followed by two houses in Kampung Keriam. II. Also accompanying the delegation were directors and senior officers under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Department of Community Development; penghulu and relevant heads of village. 2 As an annual programme of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, this initiative aims to strengthen the bond between the government and members of the community who are in need. It is hoped that these contributions will help to ease the burden of the recipients while also bringing joy to them as they prepare to celebrate the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri with happiness and gratitude. Initiatives such as this also reflect the spirit of care and togetherness within the community, while encouraging the culture of mutual assistance in ensuring the well-being of those in need is always safeguarded.
