Youth Raya Cake Sales Launch Ceremony 2026

Azinuddin, KKBS BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 25 Ramadan 1447/14 March 2026. – The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Youth and Sports Department is conducting the Youth Raya Cake Sale 2026 starting from 9 to 18 March 2026 from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm at the Recreation Hall, Youth Centre, Bandar Seri Begawan. In this regard, the Youth Raya Cake Sale Launch Ceremony 2026 was officiated by the guest of honour Yang Mulia Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Hasbi, Wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs.
The ceremony program began with the guest of honor opening the Youth Raya Cake Sale 2026 and was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Yang Mulia Awang Mohammad Afif Fikry bin Haji Abu Bakar, Graduate of Ma'had Qiraat Shoubra Al-Azhar, Egypt. The ceremony continued with the handover of stall fee assistance contributions from the Cabinet Ministers' Wives Group, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries and Associate Members to vendors in need such as single mothers, youth and youth associations and movements. The ceremony continued with a group photo session and ended with a visit to the sales plots. 
The Youth Raya Cake Sale 2026 is one of the entrepreneurial activities held during the month of Ramadan in preparation for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. Among the objectives of this sale is to provide opportunities for youth and the community in this country to venture into entrepreneurship and improve their skills and generate their respective economies. In addition, it can also help in promoting the products they are working on to find regular customers. A total of 26 sales plots have been set up for local traders consisting of members of the Brunei Darussalam Women's Association (WI) and youth groups to participate in this sale, which has been further enhanced by the sale of various confectionery products and other merchandise products. The public is welcome to visit and shop for confectionery products and merchandise available at the sale as a sign of support for local products and to help traders earn income for this year's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
