Berakas, Monday, 14 Sha‘ban 1447 / 2 February 2026 — The Capacity Development Program for Officers and Staff of the Department of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, was conducted over two (2) days at Bilik Hijau, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, under the theme "Services: Courtesy, Sincerity (Perkhidmatan : Budi Pekerti, Tuturan Hati).” The workshop was facilitated by an invited trainer from Singapore, Yang Mulia Tengku Sri Indra, recognized as Southeast Asia’s Leading Professional Trainer and Coach.

The initiative aimed to improve operational effectiveness and enhance the quality of services, especially in divisions and departments that interact closely with members of the public.

Its focus was on strengthening frontline service skills through the principles of Courtesy and Sincerity, emphasizing customer-oriented thinking, professionalism, and the ability to manage interactions with the public in a respectful and effective manner.

It is also hoped that the program will reinforce self-confidence, courtesy, and effective communication skills, thereby cultivating a positive and authoritative image within the public service.​
