BERAKAS, Friday, 11 Sya'aban 1447/30 January 2026. – The Opening Ceremony of Santai De Indoor 2.0 was held today at the parking area of the Indoor Stadium, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex. The event was organized by TSS Event Management.
Gracing the ceremony as the guest of honour was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by welcoming remarks delivered by Yang Mulia Pengiran Mohd Yazid bin Pengiran Haji Bakar, Managing Director of TSS Event Management. The programme proceeded with the official launch of Santai De Indoor 2.0 by the guest of honour, followed by a group photo session. The programme concluded with a tour of the kiosks and pop-up vendor stalls.
Side activities in conjunction with the Opening Ceremony of Santai De Indoor 2.0 will be held over three days, from 30 January to 1 February 2026. A total of 10 kiosk operators and 15 pop-up vendors, comprising local entrepreneurs and youth, began operations yesterday.
Additional activities to enliven the atmosphere of Santai De Indoor 2.0 include artistic performances by youth and Persons with Disabilities.
It is hoped that Santai De Indoor 2.0 will serve as a conducive and well-organized space that is competitive, safe, and attractive for public visits, while providing fair and sustainable opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
The presence of the public is warmly welcomed to further enliven the side activities of the Opening Ceremony of Santai De Indoor 2.0.
