BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 24 Rejab 1447 / 14 January 2026 – Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Heuankeo Sangsomsak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Brunei Darussalam.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports building and was also attended by Yang Mulia Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Acting Permanent Secretary (Community), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Fauziah binti Haji Abd Hamid, Director of Research, Development and International Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

During the session, both parties discussed several current issues of mutual concern and shared interest.
