Bandar Seri Begawan, 29 August 2025 — In conjunction with the 20th National Youth Day celebration, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, through the Youth Development Centre and in collaboration with Futurebrands and Vigorous Event Management, has launched the event IN:Stall @YDC CoffeeBiz 2025. The event will take place from 29 to 31 August 2025 at the Sports Hub, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily.
The official opening ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. With the theme “Brewing Youth Entrepreneurship,” the event brings together 35 coffee and matcha booths from across Brunei Darussalam, serving as a tangible expression of the nation’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and competitive youth development ecosystem.
IN:Stall @YDC CoffeeBiz 2025 not only celebrates the growing coffee culture within the community but also functions as a strategic platform to cultivate a resilient and competitive youth entrepreneurial community, particularly among coffee business operators.
This initiative aligns with the noble aspirations of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, to nurture a generation of youth capable of contributing actively to the nation’s socio-economic development. The event also features engaging activities such as Brew Talks, a Latte Art Challenge, and exhibitions showcasing coffee-related technologies, highlighting youth creativity while strengthening synergy between youth, industry, and government.
With strong support from various collaborative partners and enthusiastic public reception, IN:Stall @YDC CoffeeBiz 2025 is poised to become a significant benchmark in enhancing Brunei Darussalam’s youth entrepreneurship ecosystem, in line with the Whole-of-Nation Approach towards achieving the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035.
