SATURDAY, 23 AUGUST 2025 – The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, today received a donation from the Ministry of Finance for the Tabung Kemanusiaan Rakyat Palestin di Gaza 2023 (Palestine Humanitarian Fund for Gaza 2023) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports building.

The contribution, amounting to BND 23,688.00, was presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II.

The donation was raised through contributions from officers and staff of the Ministry of Finance, as well as members of the public, via the Palestine Humanitarian Fund for Gaza 2023 collection point located in the Ministry of Finance lobby.

Also present to witness the handover were Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary (Community), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Yang Mulia Awang Mohammad Harris bin Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Trade and Industry), Ministry of Finance; and Yang Mulia Dayang Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Director of Community Development, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Finance.
