Bandar Seri Begawan, Monday 28 Zulkaedah 1446 / 26 May 2025 - Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, received a courtesy visit from His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam.
The event took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Building, and was attended by Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary (Community), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Fauziah binti Haji Abd Hamid, Director of Research, Development, and International Affairs at the Ministry.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, graciously received the letters of credence from the Japanese Ambassador and newly appointed foreign diplomatic representatives to Brunei Darussalam. The Ceremony for the Presentation of Letters of Credence and the Ceremony for the Submission of Letters of Credence, took place at Istana Nurul Iman on April 21, 2025.
