BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 1 Zulkaedah 1446 / 29 April 2025 – The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation (JASTRe), Ministry of Development, in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Unit of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), held a briefing on the Environmental Protection and Management Order (Chapter 240). The talk was held at the Dewan Digadong, MCYS Building.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Yang Mulia Awang Muhammad Afif bin Ali, SKIPPA Officer of Administration and Finance Division, followed by the briefing delivered by Yang Mulia Rodziah binti Haji Adnan, Environmental Officer, and Yang Mulia Hajah Ummi Farhanah binti Haji Talipudin, Environmental Officer.

The purpose of this briefing is to inform the officers and employees of the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports and its departments about the Environmental Protection and Management Order (Chapter 240), to explain and offer insight, and to increase awareness and understanding of the Order and its associated legal requirements.

The session concluded with a question-and-answer session.
