The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), through the Community Development Department (JAPEM), has organized the Ramadan Charity Expedition Program 1446/2025 simultaneously across all four districts. This initiative aimed to distribute essential supplies to 17 underprivileged families, including recipients of JAPEM's monthly welfare assistance, orphans, senior citizens, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

DAERAH BRUNEI DAN MUARA

The Brunei-Muara District delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The delegation visited five households, starting with the first home in Kampong Lupak Luas, followed by Kampong Junjongan, Kampong Putat, Kampong Subok, and concluding at Kampong Rimba.

Accompanying the delegation were Yang Berhormat Awang Lawi bin Haji Lamat, Head of Village Kampong Subok; Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Head of Village Kampong Putat Zone 5; Yang Mulia Dr. Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at MCYS; Yang Mulia​ Dayang Fauziah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Director of Community Development; as well as department heads, directors, senior officers from MCYS and JAPEM, penghulu and relevant heads of village.

DAERAH TUTONG

The delegation in Tutong District was led by Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Culture) at MCYS. The expedition covered four households, starting from Kampong Kiudang, followed by Kampong Kuala Ungar, Kampong Bukit Udal, and ending at Kampong Sengkarai.

Joining the delegation were Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Head of Village Kampong Sengkarai Zone 2; Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya'akub, Penghulu of Mukim Ukong Zone 1; department heads, directors, senior officers from MCYS and JAPEM, as well as relevant penghulu and heads of village.

DAERAH TEMBURONG

The delegation in Temburong District was led by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary (Youth) at MCYS. The team visited four households, starting from Kampong RPN Rataie, followed by Kampong Belais, Kampong Parit Belayang, and concluding in Pekan Bangar.

Among those present were department heads, directors, senior officers from MCYS and JAPEM, penghulu and heads of village.

DAERAH BELAIT

In Belait District, the Ramadan Charity Expedition was led by Yang Mulia Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, MCYS. The delegation visited four households, beginning at Kampong RPN Pandan 'B', followed by two homes in Kampong RPN Panaga, and concluding at Kampong Keluyoh.

Accompanying the team were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Md. Salleh bin Haji Othman, Penghulu of Mukim Bukit Sawat Zone 1; Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, Head of Village Kampong Bukit Sawat Zone 1; senior officers from MCYS and JAPEM, as well as relevant penghulu and heads of village.

This annual initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports aims to strengthen ties between the government and the community in need. It is hoped that these contributions will help alleviate the burden of the less fortunate and bring them joy as they prepare to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with happiness and gratitude.​
