Bandar Seri Begawan, Saturday, 5 Zulhijjah 1444 / 24 June 2023 – Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports had launched its ‘Hari Mesra Pelanggan’ for 2023 held at Indoor Stadium of Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex. The theme for this year’s ‘Hari Mesra Pelanggan’, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports was ‘Partnering with The Community‘ (Menjalin Kerjasama Dengan Masyarakat).

Present as the guest of honour and launched the event was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. 

The event began with a welcoming remarks from Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Culture) as the event chairperson then followed with welcoming remarks and also the launching of the ‘Hari Mesra Pelanggan’ by the Guest of Honour.

There were several activities conducted by 5 sectors under Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Culture, Community, Youth, Sports and Governance. These includes sign language workshop, application for old age pension, application for financial assistance, registration for the enrolment of the Program Khidmat Bakti Negara (PKBN), ‘Meet and Greet’ with Gold Medalist in Wushu for three (3) consecutive appearances at the SEA Games, history interactive quizzes, cultural treasure hunt, history talk with head of Brunei History Centre (PSB), a calligraphy demonstration, Book Stores, conducting survey for Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports’s ‘Hari Mesra Pelanggan’ 2023 and many more.

One of the key events is the Brunei Heritage Trail Bus Adventure where visitors will tour a number of heritage sites in the capital, guided by officers from Department Of Museums (JMM) and Brunei History Centre (PSB). No admission fee required and the duration will be between 45 to 60 minutes.

Legislative Council Members, strategic partners of MCYS as well as invited students were also present.​
