BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 10 Syawal 1445 / 19 April 2024 - The excitement of Syawal is still felt with various parties continuing to celebrate it in a lively and harmonious atmosphere.

In order to further invigorate this month of Syawal, the Brunei and Muara District Elderly Activities Center (PKWE) organized the celebration of the PKWE Open House in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1445 / 2024 for its members located at the center.

Present at the ceremony were Yang Mulia Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary (Sports), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd. Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Culture), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Yang Mulia Dr Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Permanent Deputy Secretary (Culture), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Yang Mulia Dayang Fauziah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Acting Director of Community Development; Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Haireni binti Haji Awang Damit, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Council (DBP); officers and staff from the Community Development Department (JAPEM); Center for Health Promotion; and the Language and Literature Council (DBP).

Also present, Yang Mulia Major General ( R ) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, and his wife, Yang Mulia Datin Nurhayana Janis binti Abdullah Lim.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Prayer of Peace read by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Md. Ghafar bin Haji Menudin.

In the ceremony, the guests were also served with a variety of tasty and appetizing dishes.

Open House is not just about serving a variety of dishes, but it can bring together and bring closer family and sibling relationships because the practice of Open House becomes a platform to strengthen friendships between people.

Syawal, which is celebrated for a month, gives us the opportunity to visit, strengthen brotherhood while apologizing for all mistakes and mistakes.
