Dayang Saidah binti Haji Wahid was appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary (Community) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports on April 11, 2019. Previously, Dayang Saidah held the position of Special Duties Officer Level I on April 8, 2006, Chief Executive Officer Level I on December 22, 2013 and Special Level Chief Executive Officer on January 6, 2018 at the Ministry of Health.

Dayang Saidah began serving in the Public Service of Brunei Darussalam on 7 December 1996 as a Management Services Officer in the Management Services Department, one of the central public service agencies under the Prime Minister's Department.

Dayang Saidah obtained a Bachelor's degree (Hons) from the University of Brunei Darussalam majoring in Policy and Public Administration. In 2004, Dayang Saidah was awarded a Master's degree by the University of Brunei Darussalam majoring in Public Policy.

Dayang Saidah's responsibilities at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports include assisting the Permanent Secretary in coordinating Strategy and Policy Management Affairs as well as Community Affairs.

For her devotional service, Dayang Saidah was awarded the Beautiful Medal for Good Work (PIKB) in 2010 and the Star of Loyalty of Brunei, Fourth Degree (PSB) in 2018 by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzadin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
