Thursday, 15 Zulhijjah 1446 / 12 june 2025 – A total of 27 heads of family have received financial assistance from the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam through the Department of Community Development, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The event took place at Citra Budaya Hall, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Out of the 27 heads of family who received financial assistance today, three(3) were victims of strong winds, two (2) were affected by fire incidents, twenty-one (21) were victims of the flood incident, and one (1) was involved in an unsafe housing incident. All the victims and residents involved in the disaster are safe and uninjured.

Present to hand over the financial assistance to the disaster victims was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The provision of this financial assistance is aimed at alleviating the hardship experienced by the disaster victims for the well-being of their families. This effort reflects the government's concern and care for the people and residents affected by disasters.
