JERUDONG, Wednesday, 15 Syawal 1445 / 24 April 2024 - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has held the Brunei Darussalam Sports Science and Medicine Conference 2024 for two days.
At the conference, a total of nine members of the Asian Federation Sports Medicine (AFSM) and two panel members from Brunei Darussalam were invited as guest speakers for the conference.
Accordingly, the Welcoming Dinner was held last night at Tarindak d'Polo, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club, Jerudong.
Present as the guest of honor at the Dinner was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad.
The program started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and was followed by a welcome speech by Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Yang Berhormat in his speech explained that the Brunei Darussalam Sports Science and Medicine Conference 2024 which was inaugurated this morning marks one of the important events, which brings together different types of experts who are united by a common spirit to advance the field of sports and medicine.
Throughout the day, we have been involved in discussions, exchanging valuable views and creating meaningful relationships," Yang Berhormat said.
Yang Berhormat is further confident that the collective efforts will lead to significant progress in the field of sports and medicine.
Lastly, Yang Berhormat then expressed his utmost appreciation to the organizing committee from Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports for successfully organizing the Brunei Darussalam Sports Science and Medicine Conference 2024.
Also present, Yang Mulia Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary (Sports), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as Advisor to the Working Committee of the Brunei Darussalam Sports and Medicine Science Conference 2024; Yang Mulia Pengiran Haji Mohd. Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary (Culture) Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and members of AFSM.
