Bandar Seri Begawan, Thursday, 4 Zulhijjah 1447 / 21 May 2026 – Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, received a courtesy call from the newly appointed Heads of Mission of Brunei Darussalam.

The delegation included His Excellency Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Pahlawan Colonel (Rtd.) Dato Paduka Haji Abdu’r Rahmani bin Dato Paduka Haji Basir, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia; His Excellency Mohammad Shafiee bin Haji Kassim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Belgium; His Excellency Haji Khairur Rizal bin Haji Abdul Majid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste; and Her Excellency Dayangku Nooraslena binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sallehuddin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Australia.

The event was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports building and was also attended by Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Norashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary (Community), and Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Fauziah binti Haji Abd Hamid, Director of Research, Development and International Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, had graciously consented to present letters of credence to the newly appointed Heads of Mission during the Presentation of Letters of Credence and the Submission of Letters of Appointment Ceremony, held at Istana Nurul Iman on 12 May 2026.​
