Yang Mulia  Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud


Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud was appointed as Permanent Secretary (Administration, Finance and Estate) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports on 11 April 2019. Previously he was Deputy Permanent Secretary (Transport, Research and Development) at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications since December 15, 2018.


Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal started serving in the Civil Service as a Trainee Administrative Officer in June 1998 and has held several positions, which includes Administration and Finance, Estates, Quotations, Personnel Board of Permanent and Daily Paid Recruitment​, Discipline, Housing, IT, Enforcement, HRD, Drafting of Acts and Policies, HSSE and examining work processes to provide better services to public and improve Clients' Charter (TPOR) from time to time in support to the government's aspiration​ ​in Ease Of Doing Business, which are ​in line​ with his placement in several Departments and Ministries such as the Department of Immigration and National Registration, Labor Department, Ministry of Defense, Temburong District Department, Youth and Sports Department and Land Transport Department. ​


Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal's portfolio at the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports includes coordinating and managing sports affairs in addition to administrative and estate affairs.​



Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal has a BA (Hons) in Public Policy and Administration at the University of Brunei Darussalam and he has also served as Assistant Secretary General, Brunei Darussalam Football Association. His hobbies are hiking, playing futsal and soccer​.
